You read about old Samson
You read about his birth
Well, Samson was the strongest man
That ever walked on earth
Now, the Bible tells us
Down in ancient times
That he killed ten thousand
Of those Philistines
You see one day old Samson
Was walking alone
And looked on the ground
And spied an old jawbone
And then he picked up that jawbone
And swung it around his head
When that jawbone came down
Now ten thousand were dead

And then they took old Samson
They took him by surprise
And they picked up a stick
And then they punched out his eyes

To the judgment hall

To that stone cold wall
And then they left him there
Till his hair grew brown
And then the good Lord gave him strength
To tear that building down
